Lovell has appointed Robert Jackson, previously with Davis Langdon & Everest, partnering manager for the firm's London region.

Kevin Murray, past president of the Royal Town Planning Institute, has resigned from architect and town planner EDAW to start an independent consultant to be known as Kevin Murray Associates.

Multidisciplinary consultant FaberMaunsell has appointed David Blake regional director. He will be responsible for the building services team in the Birmingham office.

Planning partnership Barton Willmore has promoted Jennifer Walters to associate in the company's Reading office. In the Bristol office, Andrew Jones has been made associate and Samantha Osborne has been appointed architectural assistant.

Architectural and urban design practice Stock Woolstencroft has made six promotions. Gavin Redfern, Monica Coffey and Derek Jay have been promoted to senior associates; and Heidi Shah, Tom Bichard and Keith Davidson have been made associates.
