Subcontractors are on the receiving end of some unfair treatment
In response to the article Government shows ‘no conviction’ in tackling late payment (www.building.co.uk, 21 August) - I have been both an employer and an employee and so been on both sides of the fence, but cannot accept the morality of late payments to subcontractors. If they make late payments to emloyees than all hell breaks loose so how come subcontractors are treated in such an unfair manner?
