A round-up of writs in the Technology and Construction Court
Securicor Hotels is suing Lovell Construction and Two Bridges for damages of £141,474.52 plus interest owed, alleging that a swimming pool flooded at a hotel in Richmond as a result of breach of contract and/or negligence on the part of the first and/or second defendant.

Gardiner & Theobald Construction Management is suing Metropolis London for a sum of £36,195.78, alleging that it was not paid its fees due for a construction job.

PB Donoghue (Construction) is suing Duncan M Sinclair for £59,298.91 plus interest owed for alleged refusal to pay monies due under written contract dated 11 January 2001, in relation to building works on the construction of a dwelling house and outbuildings.

GAP Scaffolding is suing Charles Church Developments for an amount of £147,321.50 plus £1029.52 interest owed. GAP alleges that it has not been paid for supplying scaffolding to Clearwater Place, Thames Ditton at the request of the defendant.

Great North Eastern Railway and BRB (Residuary) are suing Ballast and R Beal & Company for an expected amount of more than £15,000. The claimants allege that a fire on or about 7 April, 1995, at Newcastle upon Tyne railway station was caused and created by Ballast's subcontractor R Beal.
