Top of the rich list and way ahead of the competition was Bowmer & Kirkland's highest-paid director, who took home £1.6m, including bonus. Housebuilding bosses got some of the biggest rises. Prowting's highest-earning director saw his salary jump a handy 164.8% to £437 000; Berkeley's Tony Pidgley got a 52.8% rise to £738 000; and Bryant Group's highest-paid executive received 61% more than last year, taking home £649 000.
