Kanweer makes big claims for new frames

Architectural aluminium systems supplier Kawneer has launched what it says is one of the largest casement windows on the market. Called the AA601 HDV, the window has a 102mm profile, which is about 25% larger than its 82mm predecessor. The product is available as a top-hung application, up to 2,500mm high and 2,300mm wide, and as a side-hung application, 1,900mm high and 890mm wide. The firm adds that the window meets the weather requirements of BS 6375 (parts 1 and 2): 2009 and the security accreditation of BS 7950. The product is suitable for a range of applications including residential, commercial, education, healthcare and retail developments.
