This modernist swimming pool, designed by Eva Jiricna Architects as an extension to a Georgian terrace house in Westminster, has been given a specialist conversion award by the Royal Fine Art Commission Trust. The winner of the trust’s building of the year was Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre in Dundee, designed by Frank Gehry. Other specialist awards were won by Wilkinson Eyre Architects, Allies and Morrison, Grimshaw, Future Systems, Tim Ronalds Architects, John McAslan & Partners, Rodney Melville & Partners and artists Andy Bradford and Wendy Taylor.
