Two new contract forms are launched as the Association of Consultant Architects celebrates 10 years of the PPC2000 contract

The Association of Consultant Architects is marking the 10th anniversary of the PPC2000 contract by publishing two new forms of contract as part of its Project Partnering suite of documents.

STPC2005 is a specialist term partnering contract and SPC2000 Short Form is a specialist contract for project partnering designed for use with PPC2000 (2008 Amendment).

A new guide TPC2005 and STPC2005 has also been published.

These publications are being launched at the PCC/TPC annual conference today, which is highlighting key projects procured using these the PPC200 and the TPC 2005.

Speaking at the conference Sir Michael Latham said: “PPC2000 and TPC2005 have generated significant cost and time savings for their users, and have also won major awards for the quality of construction and the sustainability of completed projects.

“Their two stage approach motivates the team to drive down cost in a systematic way. It also helps identify carbon reduction and energy efficiency measures, as well as opportunities for employment and skills during the conditional preconstruction phase.”
