The business is based in the USA but Arup said the services would be available to UK customers.
The business was created after Arup hired a group of business continuity and risk consultants from New York insurance broker Marsh earlier this year. It will be led by five US consultants, led by James Pinzari.
Pinzari said the business would offer companies a way to minimise, plan for, and then recover from, disruptions more quickly.
He said: "It is surprising how many people think that insurance coverage will protect the value of their organisation, but products and services need to flow through the value chain as well."
