Burlington supplies limestone for bathroom refurbishments

Burlington has supplied its limestone for a bathroom refurbishment project in a residential apartment that overlooks the Houses of Parliament in London. The project required stonework that maximised the natural light and space of the bathroom. Burlington’s baycliff Lord and Caulfeild limestone were both used to create a seamless transition between the walls and floors. The company says that by using random lengths of bands with heights of 282mm, the bathroom feels less confined and display areas can be installed without further cutting into the stone. Chrome bathroom fittings and a low-iron shower screen completed the design.
