Building Design Partnership elect its director of town planning as chief executive for next two years.

Building Design Partnership has elected Peter Drummond today (Friday) as its new chief executive. He replaced Roy Adams who had been in the post for ten years and did not stand for re-election.

Drummond, who is BDP’s director of town planning, was appointed chairman of BDP Southern Region in 1999, having joined the company in 1980.

BDP chairman Nick Terry said: “We welcome Peter Drummond as our new chief executive. He has many years of experience leading a major part of BDP and has shown all the qualities we need to steer one of Britain’s largest multidiscipline practices and meet our bold plans for the future”.
