Network Rail has appointed British Land to carry out the £1bn redevelopment of Euston station, north London. The developer beat off competition from Chelsfield Partners.

The 15-acre scheme will include retail and office space, and new tracks and platforms.

The masterplan architect is Leo A Daly and cost consultant is Davis Langdon.
