Industry big guns John Spanswick and Tony Pidgley are among four new members of Building’s editorial advisory board.

The panel provides a forum for discussing industry issues and helps shape the editorial direction of the magazine.

Spanswick, chairman and chief executive of Bovis Lend Lease in Europe, and Berkeley managing director Pidgley will be joined by newcomers Steve Hindley, chairman of South-west-based construction group Midas, and Mike Nightingale, chairman of architect Nightingale Associates.

The returning members of the board are: Sir Michael Latham, CITB chairman; Peter Rogers, chairman of the strategic forum; Ken Shuttleworth, founder of architect Make; Paul Morrell, partner at QS Davis Langdon;

Stef Stefanou, chairman of construction group John Doyle; Bob Blackman, national construction officer at the T&G union; Keith Clarke, chief executive of Atkins; Jon Rouse, chief executive of the Housing Corporation; and Michael Ankers, the Construction Products Association’s chief executive.
