Property management firm starts year with strong order intake from social housing sector

Property management firm Connaught has announced a good start into the year, with social housing contract wins worth more than £370m.

Order intakes include a 15-year asset management contract with Raglan Housing Association for £150m, a five year contract with Dumfries and Galloway council totalling £50m, and a £40m response maintenance contract with housing group Midland Heart.

The company’s compliance division is working on the integration with National Britannia. The board announced the department was maintaining strong growth in line with management expectations.

Connaught’s chairman, Mark Tincknell, said: “We have had a strong start to 2008, with an excellent order intake reflecting our market leading position in the large but stable social housing sector. In our compliance division, the integration of National Britannia progresses extremely well as we continue to grow in this market."
