DTI says orders in the 12 months to July rose by 8%
Construction orders in the 12 months to July 2006 have risen by 8% compared with the previous 12 months, according to the latest research from the Department for Trade & Industry.
Orders in the three months to July 2006 rose by 6% compared with the same period a year earlier. Orders in the three months to July 2006 rose by 16% compared with the previous three months, with increases in private commercial, private housing and infrastructure offsetting decreases in public housing, public non-housing and private industrial sectors.
