Tory leader David Cameron had egg hurled at his shoulder while campaigning in Cornwall

Conservative leader David Cameron was hit by an egg thrown by a construction student while campaigning in Cornwall, according to the BBC.

BBC political correspondent Carole Walker said the egg was thrown at the prime ministerial candidate as he left a college he had been visiting in Saltash.

She added that Cameron was unruffled and continued on his way out of the building.
