Lend Lease housebuilding subsidiary Crosby Homes has reported improved sales in the first half of its financial year from July 2009

Following a disastrous 77% fall in the previous 12 months. The firm, which was hit by a glut of apartment developments in its core cities of Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds, said completions were up 14% on the first half of 2008/09, with more than 470 units sold. Crosby is also gearing up to work on large-scale regeneration schemes run by its parent for the first time.
