Consultant Cyril Sweett has won a deal to work on the tallest building in Saudi Arabia.

The firm has been appointed cost and project manager on the Capital Market Authority (CMA) Tower, which is being designed by HOK and Omrania & Associates.

The 385m high building, which is also known as the Crystalline Tower, is part of clump of five skyscrapers that will form the focal point of the King Abdullah Financial District, a new development in Riyadh.

The CMA will occupy the upper section of the structure and the remainder will be leased out to other financial organisations. It is due to complete at the beginning of 2012.
