Welsh construction company, Dawnus reports further turnover increase for 2006

Dawnus construction has reported an increase in turnover and fee income according to audited figures for the financial year ending 31, December 2006.

In 2004-2005 the Welsh construction company saw turnover rise by nearly 100% from £16m to almost £31m, and net profit increase to £755,115 from £440,301.

The rise in profit is due partly to the expansion of the company to include offices in Exeter, covering the South West and Bangor to service clients in the North Wales region.

Group finance director, Brian Dalling said: "We have seen a real growth in the business following regional staff appointments to our offices in Exeter and Bangor. In particular the South Wales division has performed well and we expect turnover to rise to more than £50m in 2006."

Dawnus employs over 240 staff across five offices and next month is due to merge its west Wales teams into one new premises at Riverside Business Park in Swansea. The new head office will be the service centre for offices in other regions.
