Developer Anschutz Entertainment Group to outline plans for entertainment arena tomorrow.

The developer behind the revamp of the Millennium Dome will tomorrow unveil its plans for the transformation of the site.

Anschutz Entertainment Group is set to outline its plans to transform the Dome and the surrounding area into a music, sport and entertainment arena. The proposals for the Greenwich site will be unveiled in a conference at nearby Canary Wharf.

The 20,000 capacity scheme has been designed by architect HOK, and will be built by contractor Robert McAlpine in a £70m deal. McAlpine built the original dome in a joint venture with Laing. The contractor beat off competition from Multiplex to work on the new arena.
