Work has started on the £37.8m National Irish Aquatic Centre.
The centre, next to Dublin's ring road, will house an Olympic-sized swimming pool and is designed by local practice S&P Architects. It is set for completion by 2003. Contractor is Ascon Rohcon, structural engineer is URS Thorburn Colquhoun, services engineer is Silcock Dawson and QS is EP Stevens.
