Mechanical and electrical contractor Drake & Scull is to change its name to the EMCOR Drake & Scull Group to bring it into line with its US parent, the EMCOR Group.
Norman Critchlow, chief executive of Drake & Scull, said the rebranding would help to inform clients about changes already made within the group and confirmed that there would not be any internal operational changes.

Critchlow said the only purpose of the name change was to highlight the financial strength and operational depth that Drake & Scull could offer as part of a global business.

EMCOR, which specialises in M&E engineering, owns 51 companies across the world from the USA to the Far East. It employs more than 24,000 people.
