GF Partnership went into administration in July

Multi-disciplinary consultant Driver Group has rescued 15 staff from bust rival GF Partnership, after it was put into voluntary liquidation in July.

Driver has opened up a new office in Bedford to accommodate the recruits, which will be headed up by former GF Partnership managing director Derek Mynott.

The recruits account for a fifth of GF Partnership’s staff of 75, who were all made redundant after the firm’s collapse.

Driver’s office will offer pre-contract services to clients, Mynott said.

He added: “This is a very exciting opportunity for me and the team to continue providing the same high level of support to contractors, following the sad demise of GF Partnership, but now with the added strong financial backing of Driver Group.”
