The mayor of London has approved a new 27-storey development in east London
The St Andrews project, a joint venture by Barratt Homes and Circle Anglia, will comprise 964 new homes, food and drink retail outlets and bring a £4.6m healthcare facility to the Tower Hamlets area. A hectare of public open space including parks has also been included in the design by Allies and Morrison. The scheme is funded by the London Development Agency, the Homes and Communities Agency, the communities department and the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation.
