Consultant appoints new specialists to support growth in South Wales

Consultant EC Harris has announced senior appointments to its Cardiff office to support the consultant's operations in South Wales.

Ian Walters joins the firm to head up the affordable housing team in Wales. As a former head of Housing at Vale of Glamorgan Council, he brings with him over 25 years of experience in the sector. Walters is also a board and executive group member of CIH Cymru.

Chartered QS and project manager Kevin Ray will be working as a senior project manager working in both the public and private sectors. He joins the firm from the Welsh Assembly Government, where he acted as a professional advisor for seven years.

Michael Petersen is a senior project manager with significant experience of retail and residential targets. He has previously worked for Stradform and Marks & Spencer and will be working with Modus on the Newport Friars Walk scheme.

Management and project consultant Alex McDonald joins EC Harris as a senior consultant. He previously worked for CPC, Hornagold and Hills and the BBC, as well as numerous NHS change projects, business case preparation and HLF projects.
