The programme of activities at this week's virtual event dedicated for those designing and building schools, colleges and universities has been released. Education Now will take place on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 July: it is a free event where users can access and download information, watch videos and webinars as well as network and talk directly with fellow professionals in the sector.

This year's event, the second Education Now, will include:

  • Timed chats for delegates to discuss key issues in the sector, such as: the future of education funding; the primary schools spending plan; ICT in schools; and sustainability in the education sector
  • Two videos exclusively produced for the event, including a report on Danish education design and one on recycling shipping containers into a sports hall
  • A webinar on acoustics in education

Attendees and all those in the sector are also being encouraged to fill in a survey on the state of the education sector. The survey focuses on recent changes for school funding and procurement in the schools sector as well as future prospects for the education sector.
