Support services firm buys housing services firm JJ McGinley for £5.25m.

Support services firm Enterprise has bought housing service provider McGinley for £5.25m.

Enterprise said that the acquisition would enable it to enter the social housing outsourcing market and increase its coverage of the South of England.

McGinley provides services to housing associations and local authorities in London and the South East. It focuses primarily on specialist refurbishment and build services including major repairs and planned maintenance. McGinley had a turnover of £24m for the year ended 31 December 2004.

Chairman Seamus McGinley said: “McGinley will benefit from Enterprise’s broader service offering and operating systems, while the integration of our core skills and public sector clients will enhance opportunities for the enlarged group.”
