Contenders for the Construction Client of the Year and CEO of the Year have been unveiled
The final shortlists for the Building Awards have been revealed, with the the organisations and individuals in the running for the Construction Client of the Year and CEO of the Year been announced.
Those in the running for the CEO of the Year title in 2025 are Alan Brookes of Arcadis, Katy Dowding from Skanska UK, Graham Dundas of Willmott Dixon, Bill Hocking from Galliford Try, and Mark Lawrence of T Clarke.
Meanwhile, the organisations vying for the Construction Client of the Year are from both the public and private sectors and span a multitude of sectors.
Those in consideration are Bradford City Council, the Calthorpe Estate, Dudley College, Grosvenor, University of Cambridge, V&A East, and Vivid.
Last month, all the firms in the running for Building Awards were revealed.
In the major contractor category, firms in the running include Kier, Mace, Multiplex, Skanska and Willmott Dixon.
Core Five, Currie & Brown and Rider Levett Bucknall are all in contention to be named consultant of the year among firms with more than 100 staff, with last year’s winner CPC Project Services also in the running.
A number of high-profile schemes are in the running for awards, including John McAslan + Partners’ Belfast Grand Central Station, Gilbert-Ash’s The Richard Cairns Building - Brighton College, Burrell Foley Fischer’s Old Court and Weaving Sheds refurbishment and Kier Construction’s work at Mulberry Academy London Dock.
Tickets for the event, which is being sponsored by Bellrock, Clement Windows Group, DGP, Fenwick Elliott and SES Engineering, and in partnership with The Climate Group, The Housing Forum and UKGBC, are on sale now.
