Kings Place, a limestone-clad building that will house a public concert hall, sculpture gallery and the offices of The Guardian, is nearing completion.

Designed by Dixon Jones, the scheme is due for handover by contractor Sir Robert McAlpine in April, ready to open in October. Developed by Parabola Land, the building overlooks the area around King’s Cross station, which is awaiting a £2bn redevelopment by Argent. Arup is structural and services engineer.
