Post covers tech giant’s data centre building programme in EMEA
Andrew Jackson has been appointed to oversee Amazon’s data centre building programme across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Building can reveal.
He started his new role at the tech giant earlier this week with his official title being director of data centre capacity delivery.
He said: “I am delighted to take on this new role, working clientside, having worked in general contracting my whole career.”

He left Mace in October 2024, having arrived at the firm in 2015 from Laing O’Rourke after originally joining John Laing as a trainee in the late 1980s.
Before becoming chief executive of the construction business, he was the division’s chief operating officer.
He has spent the past year advising private equity firms on acquisitions and turnaround strategies.
