Currie and Brown oversee successful demolition of 170ft tower in Fort William Scotland - UPDATED - Now with video footage

These images show the textbook demolition of a former paper mill in Corpach, Fort William.

The 170ft high tower was destroyed in a controlled explosion by Hunter Demolition on behalf of Currie & Brown. Currie & Brown are project managing the redevelopment of the 67 acre site for BSW Timber.

The blast destroyed the former powerhouse’s steel legs, bringing down the 150ft chamber and 20ft steel chimney above.

BSW Timber plan to build a new sawmill on the site.
