One Housing Group’s mixed-tenure east London development includes 178 apartments

Galliford Try has been awarded a £25m affordable housing contract at Stratford in east London.

The housebuilder will provide 178 apartments in a mixed-tenure development for One Housing Group.

The scheme is planned to use sustainable construction, and the will include heating provision through a biomass boiler using renewable fuels.

Enabling works will begin in early 2009, aiming for completion early in 2012.
