The site forms part of mayor Sadiq Khan’s plans to regenerate the Greenwich Peninsula

The successful bidder on the contract, worth up to £107m, will negotiate a 250-year leasehold for 75 Bugsby’s Way and design, develop and build a new multi-storey industrial scheme.

According to the tender notice, the 3.38-acre site’s links to central London and the M25 give it “significant potential” for an industrial or logistics hub.

The developer will be expected to find tenants to generate a return for the project.

Firms have until 1 November to bid, with the contract to begin 23 June next year and run for seven years.
