Great Portland Estates to start on five of 20 of its pipeline schemes in next two years
Developer Great Portland Estates says it is prepared to start work on five of the 20 schemes in its development pipeline within the next two years.
It said the schemes, which it did not name, equated to over 630,000 sq ft of development space, around a third of the floor area of its entire pipeline.
The future pipeline is in addition to the five schemes GPE is already working on, with the 112,300 sq ft Wigmore Place scheme due to complete this week, and a planning aplication submitted for the 414,000 sq ft Rathbone Place scheme in May.
It said it expected completion of its 240 Blackfriars Road scheme (pictured), due to be the new home of Building’s publisher UBM, by March 2014.
