This design by Davy Smith Architects for a £14.9m affordable housing block on Digby Road in Homerton, east London, has been given the green light

The 97 homes will be set across two buildings – one five storeys and the other 14 storeys high. The development, for Turnhold Properties, aims to be the first affordable residential development with green walls and roofs. Sustainability consultant Biotecture is advising the developer.
