Heat recovery unit, alternative to replacing used filters

Itho Ventilation’s HRU ECO 4 Heat Recovery Unit promises an easier alternative to replacing used filters.

Regularly ventilation unit maintenance ensures that it will always perform to its maximum efficiency and by routinely replacing the filters, fresh clean air can continue to flow throughout the dwelling.

Sitting flush against the front section of the unit, the filters can be easily removed by pulling on the slightly raised handle.

Offering a combination of Heat Recovery efficiency and Specific Fan Power, the HRU ECO 4 efficiently extracts contaminants whilst retaining around 90% of the dwelling’s heat reserves.

The unit exceeds the Building Regulations (England & Wales) Part L, fully complies with System 4 of Part F, complies with the new standards set by the Code for Sustainable Homes along with the improved standards as set in the Energy Saving Trust “Demonstrating Compliance – Best Practice (2006 edition).

The firm says the system has been designed so that there is no need for tools or unnecessary dismantling.
