New recruits will strengthen quantum claims consultancy services for European businesses

Risk management consultant Hill International has made two senior appointments to strengthen its quantum claims consultancy services following increasing demand from European businesses.

David Kyte, vice president and managing director of Hill International UK

Hill has appointed quantum experts John Nestor and Emyr Evans as directors of the Dispute Resolution and Expert Witness Services team at its London office.

David Kyte, vice president and managing director of Hill International (UK), said: “As the global economic crisis widens, businesses are now starting to shop around and are seeing the UK’s sterling currency as increasingly favourable.

“We are now experiencing increasing demand at our London office from companies throughout Europe, and are subsequently expanding our London operation with new expert-level resources to improve our ever-widening client base, in order for us to meet and exceed our clients' expectations.”

Nestor is a chartered QS and non-practising barrister with 20 years of experience in the construction industry.

Evans has more than 16 years project experience in building and civil engineering contracts across the UK, Africa and South East Asia.

Both have extensive experience in mediation, claim preparation, expert reports and costs management for multi-million pound projects, and join Hill International from Northcrofts Management Services
