Consultant working with CIOB on time-management advice to address plague of late completions

Consultant Hill International is helping draw up time-management advice for the industry after last week’s report from the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) showed most complex schemes finish late.

The firm, whose senior vice-president Keith Pickavance became president of the CIOB this week, said it was working with the body to improve the industry’s record.

It is hoped an advisory document will be ready for publication by the end of the year.

Toby Hunt, a Hill International director, said: “With Keith at the CIOB, we’ll take a leading role. We have strong experience of working with the CIOB on this.”

He added that the CIOB was working with universities to develop courses in scheduling.
