Demolition contractor 777 Group has already been engaged to pull down the remains of the Reeves furniture store in Croydon following rioting on Monday night

The Victorian building, which was set alight during the unrest, housed a 140-year-old family business. Wates subsidiary Linbrook is assisting in the demolition of four further buildings in the borough.
