Herbert Lütkestratkötter takes the helm at German contractor from April

German contractor Hochtief has appointed Herbert Lütkestratkötter as its new chairman.

Lütkestratkötter takes up his role on 1 April 2007, replacing Hans-Peter Keitel who is stepping down after 15 years on Hochtief’s management team.

Hochtief said Keitel had led the company to become a successful provider of construction services and thanked him for his dedication.

Lütkestratkötter joined Hoctief’s board in 2003 and has been responsible for North and South America and project development.
