The Irish government has unveiled HOK’s masterplan for a *4bn (£3.2bn) “airport city” in Dublin.

The Dublin Airport City will include 600,000m2 of office space and 40,000m2 of shops, hotels and conference centres. It will be constructed in phases, with the first tenants expected to move in before 2013. Bertie Ahern, the outgoing taoiseach, launched the 350-acre scheme last week, describing it as a “vibrant economic hub”.
