Work continues on a wall in Calais to stop migrants boarding UK-bound lorries, as the residents of “the Jungle” camp are told to evacuate

Construction work continues on a UK-funded £1.9m wall in Calais, France, on Tuesday.

The wall is supposed to prevent migrants boarding lorries going to Britain.

Notices have been posted in the Calais refugee camp known as “the Jungle” (below) warning it must be evacuated within two days, before demolition of makeshift buildings in the camp begins.
