The Modern Slavery Garden

The Modern Slavery Garden, one of the gardens awarded gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show on Tuesday. Its designer, Juliet Sargeant, is the first black landscape designer to create a garden at the show and has called for more diversity in the sector. Built by specialist gardening firm The Outside Room, it is designed to celebrate the passing into law of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, which is meant to end human trafficking and slavery in the UK.
