Books wrapped in plastic hang on a steel frame replica of the Parthenon temple in Kassel, Germany, on Sunday.
The structure is one of the biggest works of art for the contemporary art exhibition documenta.
Entitled The Parthenon of Books, it is a recreation by the Argentine artist Marta Minujín of her own work of the same name, which she originally unveiled in Buenos Aires in 1983.
The documenta exhibition runs from 10 June until 17 September in Kassel.
