Innovaré Systems is providing its large format i-SIP structural insulated panel system for a new accommodation block at Ashdown Forest visitors centre in East Sussex

Designed by RDJW Architects and built by Farnrise Construction, it uses large format 162mm i-SIP panel measuring 5.9m by 2.4m, with an additional rigid polyurethane insulation cavity board to achieve a U-value of 0.15W/m2K.

The panels were specified for their speed of build. This is the first time they have been manufactured in these sizes. Smaller versions have recently been used on a level three Code for Sustainable Homes development for Osborne Homes.
