ISG subsidiary becomes latest firm to lodge appeal against charge for anti-competitive behaviour

ISG has become the latest firm to appeal the fines for anti-competitive behaviour set by the Office of Fair Trading in September.

ISG said subsidiary ISG Pearce had submitted an appeal to the Competition Appeal Tribunal “in respect of the quantum of fine imposed, the methodology in which the fine was calculated and its inclusion as an entity responsible for the infringement.”

The firm joins a growing list of other contractors who have revealed they will appeal the OFT fines, including Kier, Galliford Try and Renew Holdings.

ISG acquired ISG Pearce in November 2007. The breach occurred in 2001 when the company was owned by Crest Nicholson plc.
