Latest arrivals join firm’s Europe operations
Mace Consult has brought in two new business unit heads at its Europe division, the company has announced.
The firm, which is set to be majority owned by Goldman Sachs, said that Louise Sunderland has joined from EY as head of its cities and places and London team.
She was previously a partner in EY’s government and infrastructure consultancy practice and has previously worked for KPMG.
Meanwhile, Arcadis partner Martyn Court has joined as head of mobility where he will be responsible for rail, highways, aviation and ports.
Among the schemes he worked on at Arcadis was the Thames Tideway tunnel as we;; as work at Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
Mace Consult managing director for Europe Andy Beard said: “The appointments of Louise and Martyn are representative of the business’s rapid growth trajectory and strong ambition in Europe as we continue to expand our headcount of people with specialisms in successfully delivering these major initiatives.”
Mace is expecting the sale of its Consult business to Goldman Sachs that was announced over the summer to be wrapped up by the end of the year. No financial details have been given but the price tag for the US bank’s 75% stake is believed to be around $1bn (£750m).
