HSE is investigating the death of a 30-year-old last week on a site at Swan Lane

A 30-year-old man has been killed following an accident on a Sir Robert McAlpine construction site in the City of London.

Richard Chaddock, 30, from Newark, Nottinghamshire, died on 19 March while working on the 10-storey Riverbank House scheme in Swan Lane.

Sir Robert MacAlpine said Chaddock had been employed by a subcontractor.

The UK Health and Safety Executive and the City of London police are jointly investigating the incident.
