The property and construction consultant will provide 209 new homes including 46 affordable flats.

McBains Cooper has won a contact to provide 209 new homes in Elephant and Castle for developer Oakmayne Properties.

The £20m scheme will provide 140 private homes, 18 live/work units, five work units and 46 affordable homes for Horizon Housing Association.

Jeremy Sutton, director at McBains Cooper said:”The design aims to maximise the density of this important site as well as creating a long-term sustainable community.”

Property and construction consultant McBains Cooper will provide architecture, engineering services, project management, quantity surveying, planning supervision, and due diligence services. It will also act as employer¹s agent for the scheme.

The scheme is scheduled to start on site in May and due to complete November 2006.
