Morgan Sindall has been appointed to carry out a £13.5m upgrade of Exeter university’s engineering building.

The project will revamp the Harrison building (pictured), which is part of the university’s Streatham Campus.

Works will include re-roofing, removing and replacing a suspended ceiling and upgrading its existing building services.

This is the latest in a string of deals between the university and Morgan Sindall, with the contractor recently completing £3.5m worth of work to improve teaching and study facilities at the site.

The firm is due to announce its half year results on 7 August.
