Multiroom entertainment systems specialist Opus Technologies has launched the WCU600, a fully customisable touchscreen keypad that can be used to control its Opus 500 whole-house music and video system, as well as other smart home products.
The WCU600 keypad is also able to display video, allowing users to cue up DVDs, TV or CCTV systems, and also browse the on-screen menus of audio and video servers, iPod docks and more. The high-contrast backlit colour screen is fully customisable, enabling users to reconcile the technological capability and ease of use.
Other features include the ability to view door-entry system and CCTV feeds using the keypad screen, a built-in back box and fixings for both cavity and solid walls, an extensive range of magnetic interchangeable faceplate finishes, and a clock with an alarm and sleep timer. It is available in white, piano black, brushed metal, matt stainless, chrome, gold and brass.
